Mercedes Benz stadium is under construction… but just a few days ago, Falcons CEO, Rich McKay said that the stadium will open for the Falcons pre-season game vs the Cardinals on August 26th. So book your travel arrangements and buy tickets now to be the first to experience College Football in the new Mercedes Benz Stadium.
Here are some key features of the stadium: Seating capacity is expandable between 75,000 and 83,000 seats, the retractable roof was inspired by the Oculus in the ancient Rome Pantheon (I have heard that the roof will not be open for either College game) and there are views of the Atlanta skyline…plus a 360 degree HD Halo video board almost 6 stories tall and 1,100 linear feet in diameter…the largest in the NFL and the world.
For those that desire the best seats and premiere amenities, there are 7,500 Club seats with more than 100,000 sq. ft. of space dedicated to climate controlled club and premium areas. The ultimate experience is the AMG all-inclusive private club which is located at field level along the sideline with floor to ceiling windows. You will be able to see the coaches and players as they enter and exit the locker rooms. Other perks include VIP Parking and a private entrance.
Be a part of the College Football Holiday Kickoff weekend in Atlanta and experience this new beautiful, iconic stadium…less than 100 days away.
